Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Destiny is a real-time strategy computer game developed by Neocore Games. The game was released on 22 May 2011. The story takes place in the Warhammer 40,000 universe as a sequel to "Inquisitor - Martyr". In the campaign mode, the player assumes the role of an Imperium Inquisitor who experiences a series of visions related to Chaos and an impending threat from within the Imperium itself. The player must travel across distant planets investigating corruption and heresy while gathering allies to combat a growing evil threatening mankind. The campaign is divided into a series of levels, each mission of which consists of a number of parts. A mission has a specific goal to be achieved, unique map terrain and set of enemies to fight against. In the first part the player must make contact with a local leader on one of the planets and receive his help in completing the rest of the mission. The second part usually involves combat against several factions present on this planet, including both Chaos Cultists and rogue Imperial Guard units. In the final parts, the Inquisitor meets with another leader who gives him a new vision or task to complete elsewhere in the galaxy. As the story progresses, the player is given new units and abilities as well as access to more types of missions. The missions become more difficult and usually require the skills of several units rather than relying only on the starting characters. The game features three playable factions: The Imperium of Man, The Dark Eldar and Chaos Space Marines. Each faction has its own unique units and play style based on their strengths and weaknesses. The player can collect 4 types of resources: power, requisition, influence and fame which are used to construct buildings. Power is generated from generators placed around each planet using requisition as fuel. Influence is generated by completing missions and for each completed mission the player gains influence points which can be spent on buildings. Fame points are gained when the Inquisitor has influence with another faction's city. The Inquisitor recruits units by recruiting them from his base. The Inquisitor can have up to 6 units at any given time, although this number can be changed in the barracks. The base also contains a recruitment room where newly recruited units are researched and trained before being deployed to the battlefields of warzones, planets or xenos planets. The primary weapon of the Imperium consists of boltguns that are fired one shot at a time. The boltgun has a maximum range of 300 meters and fires at a rate of 300 rounds per minute. eccc085e13
